Privacy Policy
Overview
This app displays publicly available parking price, live occupancy, and historical occupancy data for parking lots in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Givatayim, to help users find the most affordable parking option. The app does not require an account or registration, and does not collect personally identifiable information.
Location
When you explicitly tap the "my location" button, the app requests access to your device location in order to center the map on your position. Your location is processed entirely on-device for that purpose only — it is never sent to, stored by, or shared with our servers or any third party. The app is fully usable without granting location permission.
Information We Collect
We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any personal identifiers. Our servers process and display only:
- Parking lot price and occupancy data, sourced from public/operator sources.
- Standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) temporarily retained by our hosting provider (Vercel) for operational and security purposes, as is standard for any web service.
- A local anonymous id: a random number generated on your device and stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) - not derived from your IP address, device, or any other identifying detail, and not linked to your name, email, or any personal information. Sent to our server only when you click a parking lot on the map, solely to count how many unique users clicked on each lot.
Third-Party Services
The app loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap to render the map. Loading these tiles exposes your IP address to that provider, subject to its own privacy policy. The site also uses the Statcounter analytics service to measure visits and usage; it may collect your IP address, browser type, and browsing patterns on this site, subject to its own privacy policy. The app contains no ads or ad-tracking.
Children
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
